To be fair it make sense. As much as people don’t like to talk about it most men are only nice to women because they are attracted to them and the job isn’t the place for it. I’m not saying being cold with a coworker is okay but a friend ship isn’t needed if you barely need to interact with one an other. I personally speak really nicely to coworker but don’t try to get out of the work subject as I have a gf and I am not looking to make a close women friend since I would personally not like it the other way around (I’m not completely against it but I try to do the same as I would like done to me). Anyway from experience men often try to derive the conversation towards more than just being friends with women they speak with so it’s probably for the better. If you are extremely social that might sk but I guess it’s all about perspective and everyone has a different one.
