I'm not mistaken in my belief. You clearly don't understand what my belief is. I in no way, am insinuating that she got the idea to touch someone and threaten them from literally seeing that exact action being done on TV. My point is that things don't exist in a vacuum, people don't do things just because "they're crazy", and this is a by product of a bigger societal problem, which is not as simple as seeing a specific action on tv and recreating it (or an individual just "being crazy").

I would never suggest that your friend threw a cat in the pool because she saw someone on tv throw a cat in their pool. Again, I'm not really sure what your disagreement is or if you even understand what I'm saying.
