Men of Reddit, how many of you would like to ask for help (Emotional support, a shoulder to cry on, or someone to console you) but don’t because of lack of support and or fear of being thought of less of a man?

What's up with the accepted outcome is men being less respected or seen as less manly? It's mostly women that push for that interpretation with these questions.

I have problems and probably mental issues. The real reason I probably don't deal with them is because I'm lazy, I don't really think that kind of stuff like therapy works and low key even though I accept I have a problem I don't truly want to change. No different than some junkie that knows drugs are bad but won't change at the end of the day.

It has nothing to do with manliness. Most men don't care about what other men think anyway so if I'm being all messed up in the head, it'll be more likely ignored than frowned up. Even though I think I have my own issues and probably should seek help, I don't want a hug or a shoulder to cry on. Just want solutions that are straight to the point, cheap, and that kind of stuff.
