Men of Reddit, how often have do/do you change your walk because you’re walking behind a woman late at night?

I live in a very safe residential neighborhood with plenty of apartments and houses around but not much if any foot traffic at night. I sometimes go for runs at night after dark. I am not a huge guy but am fairly muscular and with a hoodie on, I can see how I might be a little scary as a dark figure because you cant see my face.

Sometimes after my run, I walk around a bit to cool down. If I see a lady walking by herself up ahead and my pace is much faster than hers, I will purposely cross the street for a bit then cross back after I'm ahead of her.

Not much of an inconvenience so whatever but sucks that this world requires something like this to be done to make some people feel safe.
