Men of Reddit, how often have do/do you change your walk because you’re walking behind a woman late at night?

Walk on opposite side of street or just create space. I’m scared of being next to white women in public transit to be honest. I won’t sit near them on the subway if I can avoid it. Sat next to a white woman once cus it was the only seat available and she stared at me and immediately looked away when I made eye contact, she clutched her book bag and got up from her seat, as soon as another passenger got up from a seat next to a white man she sat there. Made me all types of mad initially but at the end of day she was afraid so she has to protect herself. Don’t matter what I think. I won’t sit next to white women and I try and avoid eye contact with them on the train.
