Men of Reddit, how do I stop being socially weak and spineless?

Everyone has given the typical "bro" solution - Gym, MMA, Diet - but that's not the answer .. completely.

Step-1 is to identify the areas you are strongest at and the areas where you are weakest.

  • Ex - you are socially "weak". Expand on that.

Step-2 is to turn those weaknesses into opportunities for growth.

  • Ex. if you find you are too passive perhaps you want to look into ways you can be more assertive. Keep in mind, how you present your assertiveness at work will differ from how you are with friends.

Step-3 is to set a plan for yourself; a personalized goal for each point of weakness you found. Determine what success looks like.

Step-4 is to get after. No excuses.
