I always make fun of those types of people.

But the question is: why do men need to call it out? Women don’t need our help or protection. To say that men need to protect them is in of itself sexist.

Lastly: people tend to hang out with likeminded people. It’s not likely that friends intersect where one makes those types of comments while another is vehemently against it. You’re trying to give the impression that it’s already not being called out, but it is. Those that are actually against it call it out when they see it.

This isn’t a case of you sitting in a lobby where some guys harass a woman, and the rest of the lobby is angry but silent. It’s a case of them either not caring about it, or supporting it.

And you’re not going to convince someone who doesn’t care to go out of their way and self insert themselves into stressful situations.

Those who would call out the behavior are already calling it out. This post just seems ego-serving.
