Men of Reddit, what kind of advice would you give women that you know would make their life easier?

To take note from how women where gatekept in the past with nerdy stuff and not do the same sort of sin to straight guys when they are the majority in a fandom. Just with series like Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Bob's burgers etc a straight guy like myself has had a bit of a harder time finding my place in those communities. It's just that some women there are having the same sort of issues that straight guys had all those years ago. Yet they think they don't have to do anything, like any trying to even things out is sexist or whatever and only because they are women. Not because there's a bunch of straight guys who want to be apart of the community and make friends for the stuff they love.

I guess it just comes down to taking some of their own medicine, some women seem to do the sort of stuff they have talked about disliking straight guys doing. It's just frustrating as again women in those circles think it's justified that they don't have to be accountable for those sort of social blunders. And blaming any sort of flack they get on sexism.
