Men of Reddit, what's the worst piece of advice your mom gave you on women?

It honestly some people are just way too into themselves. When I was younger I'd pursue girls even when they'd play hot and cold games with me and do the hard to get bs when they were clearly interested but just liked games. These are immature people who will never give you equal affection back. As I matured I dated some older mature women who didn't play these games at all and it gave me a whole new perspective. I always let my intentions be known especially when a girl gives me the go ahead signals. If they start playing games, I just distance myself and move on. Not worth my time regardless of who it is. It's so pointless when both parties like each other.
