Men, what are things you secretly expect, but don't ask for?

There are different kinds of expectations. There are common sense expectations, which is how things should be; and there are experiential expectations, which is how you believe things are.

For example: I "expect" people not to smoke in public, because it smells like wretched shit, and the smell lingers for over 100 feet in every direction, and it makes it very uncomfortable for other people to simply breath. However, I also "expect" that smokers are going to smoke everywhere regardless, because this is what I've witnessed countless times my whole life.

To recap: 2 types of expectations - things you want, and things you believe will happen.

I expect basic human decency from strangers, but I also don't expect it.
