Yep of course context is important. I’m in no way supporting putting men down for being wanting to swim with sharks. I’m saying men who come off arrogant or support the idea that women should only do feminine hobbies are a red flag - as noted with the original post from here. No one should swim with sharks unless they feel safe and are educated on the procedures. Does it make a man or woman lesser for not wanting to? Of course not. My point is women do a ton of non-feminine hobbies and some men do have an issue with it which is their loss completely. Luckily most of the women and men I dive with are extremely encouraging and supportive of one another.
