Surprised I haven’t seen it yet, for me it’s trying to control what I wear/how I look. Even small comments like “pull your shirt up/cover your body” set off alarms in my head cause the implication is usually that “I’m showing too much”.

Also have a (perhaps silly) personal red flag of distrusting anyone who tells me not to cut my hair short. It tends to stay long cause I hate going to salons but I regularly contemplate cutting it all off. Past experiences with guys that were adamant about not wanting me to cut my hair were that they wanted to control my appearance and present more femininely. Also made weirdly sexual remarks about not being able to pull on short hair.
