Men who have desk jobs, how you do survive it for so long?

I’m constantly amazed by how much I get paid for something I find so engaging.

I work in consulting and I feel like I get to use all my best talents. It’s always something interesting and challenging.

I try to sell business to clients (I generally bring in 6 figures each year which is not really that much), create presentations and present, write white papers for clients, write public position papers, run client meeting, analyze data, etc.

I frankly love it. My company really just lets me do my own thing. I have a practice development account and get a yearly bonus.

It can be stressful, and sometimes I’m on the road a lot, but my peers recognize me as a SME in my area and I couldn’t find a better group of people to work with. They’re crazy smart and honestly good people.

It’s great. Don’t get a desk job. Get the right desk job.
