Men who met the love of your life young (let's say early 20s), how did you make your relationship strong, mature and longlasting despite your age?

Met my SO when we were both 21. Right after we started dating, around 1.5 months, we found out she was pregnant. She wasnt up for an abortion and I wasn't interested in adoption. We talked and decided to raise the child together and I told her I loved her for the first time. We've been together ever since for 9 years now.

I have no wisdom to share on how we have made it work up to this point. It hasnt always been a smooth ride, and even got through problems like infidelity, depression, some finance scares, and medical issues.

It feels good knowing Im in a relationship longer than either of my parents have ever been in and that Im doing better than my siblings at relationships and parenting.

Only my younger bro is giving me competition at the moment. My other siblings are both 8 years older than me and started families young, but they cant hold a relationship and some of my nephews/neices are not performing well in school and one already dropped out.

My SO and I are both kinda motivated by doing better than our families.
