Menaphos from a low-mid level players perspective

Pros:

  • Love the fishing and woodcutting area for the resources and expirience. * Fan of the granite rocks, but would prefer something that would be more useful than just dropping all the granite. * The expirience bonus in the city will keep me coming back to do other skills, especially when I unlock the worker district bank for easier cooking, smithing, firemaking, crafting, etc. * There's room for more skilling content to be added, especially in the thieving and fishing areas.

Cons: * Why can I gain port reputation from mining in the worker district? * Having Menaphos max at 330k with each faction total of 300k reputation doesn't make sense. Should be 1.2m total reputation. * Cosmetic rewards for faction rewards is a complete blow, and unmotivating to gaining reputation. * There's a lack of activities for gaining reputation other than just skilling for hours. * NPC's and buildings seem lifeless, and not having second floors to buildings when every city in Runescape has second floors is odd.

Suggestions: * Lock faction reputation gaining activities solely to the faction you're alligned to. * Scale city reputation and rewards to 1.2m, then raise the reputation given from each activity in the factions so I can access a single factions rewards faster, and if I want to access city rewards then I'll work for other factions. *Change the rewards given from factions. This isn't some special event, and not everyone is into fashion scape. *Maybe given the set reward if you max out a faction, but the rewards are pathetic atm. *As others have stated, add daily activities to the NPC's where you can do jobs for them. Maybe deliver then x amount of granite and fish to the ports, and other random jobs for reputation. *Add actual shops to the city to give it more life.
