The Meniere's Scale

Shame the scale didn't format correctly in the original post. After this last week, however, I'm adjusting it slightly. The new Meniere's Scale goes as follows; * 0 - No dizziness at all. MD sufferers may lie in bed wondering if they've had some kind of aneurysm in the night. * 1 - Able to stand on one leg for extended periods - generally follows level 0 along with a sense of hope that the MD has gone away. * 2 - Need to keep both feet firmly on the ground, but otherwise not too bad. Normal Human functioning possible, as long as no running or crossing uneven terrain is required. * 3 - Need one additional support; a walking stick or something to hold onto to stay upright. * 4 - Need two additional supports; either two sticks, a walker, or two handholds. * 5 - Need three additional supports; the head may be employed as a balance aid at this point. * 6 - Basically crawling on hands and knees at this point. * 7 - Crawling on the floor developing carpet burns on your forehead. * 8 - Lying in bed wondering if you've had an aneurysm.
