Mental health getting worse and my mum keeps saying people who don’t do anything are pieces of shit

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with these issues. When I lived at home my mom also used to say a lot of things that triggered my stress and anxiety… it’s a very difficult situation to be in.

I don’t have the answers. But something I remind myself is that we are called human beings, not human doings.

Maybe doing a guided meditation may help, but at the end of the day you’ll most likely only get better when you can leave that location and not be around people who are draining your energy with their hurtful words.
