Last year. Our senior was old school, 7 cycles (5 of them honor platoon), was a scout sniper, ex PMI, MCMAP instructor, ex Drill Master. He was the “king of Parris Island” he throat chopped a kid in formation during in door drill (3rd battalion is huge we would crunch the house) over something so small. I would break my wrist during “rip shoot ease to the deck” and come over and break it for me after calling me a fat piece of of shit lol. Even the other DIs were scared of him like our kill hat fucked up initial drill (seniors last cycle he wanted to win) and went nuclear in the DI house, we didn’t see the kill hat for like a week.

Pretty tame stuff compared to your time but yea. I got lucky with my experience because in another platoon they were very by the books. Like Fox Company where recruits would laugh in line. In Mike Co (where my senior was at) we had the same scenario but my heavy took a hand guard of an m16 and shoved it in the recruits throat and said “what’s so fukn funny huh girl? You laughing at me mother fucker right” no one laughed ever again unless it was senior with the sexual innuendos during drill or during “daddy time”. Fox company graduated garbage sleazy marines, mike graduated machines. I wish they were allowed to hit tbh. Thanks for your service though.
