I mentioned Chris Brown being a women beater in a new music video and have since received 400+ hate replies. Here are the best ones I've collected.

I never said you were racist. Look fine. I'm going to apologize because I'm clearly in the wrong here and yes, I was speaking from a place of anger.

Your original blanket statement set me off because I see vague comments from white people like that all the time. Usually accompanied by stats (like yours), that look reasonable at first glance because they know most aren't going to dig deeper to understand the intricacies of the community (often don't need to add animal/n*gger/savage, by assumption people already subconsciously think these things about all of us) and yeah I got overwhelmed and fed up with the argument that I knew was going to ensue.

Add in internalized snowflake black folks saying shit like this in majority white spaces for whatever reason. Most white people will see that, upvote because a black said "ugh black community" and move on with a confirmation bias. We're on reddit, this was my second assumption.

So that's where I was coming from. Then when you accused me of whiteness and trying to stiffle you when I pointed out how the black community always gets dragged when white people can stan problematics without a huge backlash against "the white community", that got to me I'm not going to lie.

So again, I'm sorry this happened.
