Mercy gameplay balance idea : more damage

That's exactly my point. Yes, Mercy should have a reason to stop supporting temporarily. That's what makes her unbalanced.

Support doesn't mean that your only job is to heal 100%. A strategic kill and change the game and her kill doesn't really allow that. She has a unique ability (flying) and we're not taking advantage of that.

For the same reason Ana stops healing to sleep an enemy or kill a Pharah. For the same reason that Lucio stop healing for boop. For the same reason that Moira throws a damage orb to finish a Tracer.

I'm a Tank main. I love a pocket Mercy, but from a gameplay perspective I don't think it's balanced to have a hero with literally zero damage.
