Was The Mess Up With r/news The Biggest Reddit Travesty To Date?

Holy shit. You think that just because you're allowed to post on a forum, you have control over it?

I'm legally contracted to my workplace and have to bide [sic] by there [sic] rules or be terminated. It's not the same because a work place has a common [sic] we strive for for the betterment of the company, not Reddit where people post to discuss and everyone is most definitely not striving toward the same goal.

I genuinely don't understand this nonsense. Because work pays you, they can make the rules for their assets, but because reddit doesn't, they can't make the rules for theirs?

That's pants on head retarded.

It is exactly the same thing. You can't do things at your work because they're a private company and they control what you do while you're there. It has nothing to do with them paying you.

You can't do things at reddit, because they're a private company. They own the site, they own the space, they own the message if they want to.

You don't control either one. You just don't. ALL OF THE THINGS THAT PEOPLE GET UP IN ARMS ABOUT ON THIS SITE ALWAYS BOIL DOWN TO "BUT WWWWWHAAAAAHHHHH I DON'T LIKE THAT CHOICE" because this site is full of entitled children like you.

And you said people were being racist. I highly doubt they were talking about a specific race of people, considering the story involves ISIS (an organization) and Islam (a religion), so racism is negligent.

Fine. Let's replace racism with bigotry. It was a fucking witch hunt. When people were getting banned in the beginning it's because they were shouting "HERR DURR MUSLIM BAD" when no OFFICIAL source had made a connection to ISIS, Islam, or anything. Please fucking note that I didn't say there is no connection NOW, just that there was no connection when this shit started.

I just don't understand your arguments. Do you really believe that because you post on reddit, you get to control what they allow to be posted? That's so fucking naive and idiotic.
