Message from a console "peasant".

Cost: Show him the builds. There should now be an automod response to this comment. You'll notice that the second build on the list costs as much as a PS4/XBONE, yet outperforms it on every count. Additionally, you're incredibly likely to already have a mouse, keyboard, and monitor. Even if you don't, you can get all three for less than $50 total, which is a lot less than you'll save on game sales by doing PC gaming, and would be worth it even if you didn't save that money, simply because desktop computers are incredibly useful for a variety of things, not just gaming.

Controller: As a competitive Super Smash Bros. Melee player, I scoff at your idea that keyboards cause repetitive strain injuries more. As just a general gamer, you aren't going to get repetitive strain injuries unless you play a lot without taking breaks, and that's true with both M+K and controller. Plus, you know what's great about PC? You can use any controller you want. Want to use the U-Force controller, for some reason? You can almost definitely find a way to do it on a PC.

Monitor: Again, this has to do with not taking breaks. I understand why you have trouble taking breaks when on PC, but not on console; PC is way more fun to play for longer periods of time than console is.

Servers: You have way fewer options when playing on a server you don't own. You make a legitimately good point about ease of just playing vs. setting up a server, I'm not above admitting that, but there are obvious upsides to setting up your own server on PC that you can't ignore.

The human eye: THIS IS SO WRONG. Here's a good post talking about it. The myth that the human eye can only see 24 FPS (which is even lower than the usual "30 FPS" that I hear, I have no idea where you got that from) is not at all backed by science. Flip books don't work because the human eye can only see 24 FPS, flip books works because the human brain is really, really good at recognizing patterns. However, higher FPS is still going to be smoother looking.

Graphics: Guess what a lot of people on here thought was the best game of last year? Undertale. Now, the art style is nice, but it's not exactly the best looking game. PC gamers care about as little as you claim to about graphics. Of course, you probably care a lot about graphics. I bet you that if a game somehow looked better on a console than on PC, you'd never shut up about it. PC gaming is about having options. We can get great indie games like Undertale (which isn't available on anything but PC), we can run Witcher 3 at 4k, or we can even download an emulator and run 20 year old games completely for free if we want to. We can play games that aren't very graphically intense and enjoy it as much as console gamers can, but we also have the option to enjoy a beautiful game at the maximum possible settings.
