Priority 1 and 2 aren't an option for me. I have nobody nearby me period, much less people who Smash. I have no reliable transit to any locals or tourneys, and even if I did I doubt I can afford the venue fees more than once every two weeks or per month: not very good if I want to improve at any reasonable speed.

At this point, when I'm resigned to be a WiFi Warrior, why would I choose Anther's or a Discord group over For Glory? Your reasons seem to be "better connection", "no trashy players", and "advice".

In my experience, I've rarely gotten meaningful advice from anyone I've played with, even when asked.

My FG connection is usually all right to "I don't notice a problem". The terrible connections are uncommon and just as likely to happen on Anther's/Discord as they are on FG.

If rolling and spamming beats me, then it's the best strategy to use against me, meaning those FG spammers are actually better players than I am. This advice just reeks of "well avoid playing with people who do that", which sounds pretty scrubby considering it's something I lose to and definitely won't help me if I was at a local and ran into one.
