So, I can't really blame guys here for being lazy or unoriginal in their messages. It's just a lot of wasted time when your chances of being answered don't improve much with effort anyway.

This isn't really anyone's fault, it's just a natural thing to happen when one group greatly outnumbers the other. I think you will have much better success by searching for men who seem like they may fit you and are in a reasonable location. And men are greatly served by doing the opposite and posting a thread: even if it's quite unlikely to be answered, you can just post it every week with the same text so you only need to write it out once.
