[META] How many question on /r/AskHistorians actually do get an answer?

I say disingenuous because you're ignore the important point of the OP:

The people claiming "posts never have answers" are the people who come here and don't come back after the post falls off r/All, and, while its on r/all, they do not have answers.

The OP will see a response regardless of when I write it, and I don't think it's particularly burdensome to save a thread or check back to it later.

For the OP, the subreddit works great. Again, I'm not saying the subreddit isn't great and that's why I am subbed here. I can only offer my opinion on this specific topic though as I've seen it.

"I don't think it's particularly burdensome"

THe problem though is, we aren't talking about what a moderator who specifically is OK with patience, long wait times, etc thinks of the process. We're talking about, as op puts it:

If some redditors are to be believed, /r/AskHistorians is nothing but "[removed]";

From my personal opinion: 99% of the time I see this subreddit come up in r/all - that is exactly what r/askhistorians looks like.

I wouldn't expect the moderators to have an issue with this system, but the mods are basically in here talking about r/all like this:
