It sounds like the mod team has a vastly more high-minded goal for this sub than the people who actually post here. In that case surely accepting the reality of the situation and understanding that you can't control the entire narrative on here would make sense.

What the mods actually want is confusing. Most people here seem to come for discussion which is dynamic, moves around, is spontaneous and can happen anywhere, on any thread. It seems like a lot of the mods want this sub to be a place to read peoples blog posts. "Look guys I wrote an essay, do you agree?" If I wanted do that I'd go to blogspot. I want discussion with like-minded people, people with a certain level of knowledge about music, that's usually what I get. In that sense having a realist view of the sub seems to lead to decent results.
