Meta mega-thread

Mods are ruining this app. I’ve been censored like never before the last 24 hours for the most stupid shit. Check my profile out if you wanna see what I’m talking about.

R/Virginia banned me for warning a potential person who was curious about moving to va, to only consider a few places bc most of the state sucks.

Went on the mods profile and commented on his Askreddit post where he claimed to be a cop. I said “that explains the power tripping.” I was being an asshole there and got immediately banned. I definitely deserved a punishment for that but an immediate ban with no warning seemed harsh.

So I made a post about the ban and how I made a stupid mistake with that fuck up. Askreddit mods stepped up my ban to a permanent ban for mentioning the ban outside of modmail. Wtf...

So I go on TIFU to say I fucked up and broke rules and got myself banned. Started gaining lots of traction and appeared to be heading for the front page. Tifu mods remove it claiming rule 1.

I contact the Tifu mods saying I’m confused. They explained they don’t allow meta posts. I said what is a meta post and how is that rule 1. They say it’s unoriginal and it’s actually rule 2. I proceeded to ask them if I would get in trouble for taking a screenshot of the conversation to post in other subreddits. Immediately muted from tifu for asking the question in modmail.

Mods are ruining this app. I realize this may not be that much of an unpopular opinion. But shit, that’s really what this subreddits for amiright
