[Meta] Should Derek Smart be allowed to post here?

I am not saying people should be banned for minor infractions. It is perfectly alright to give someone the benefit of the doubt but when someone repeatedly hurls the same minor insults with no signs of changing I don't see why it should repeatedly be treated the same way by just removing the offending post. Heck, the person in question Derek Smart doesn't even just hurl the same minor insults either, he also threatens (a dox threat) and even went as far to make a jab showing he searched through redchris18's post history for "private" information. Yes, stating he is from the UK is minor, but people generally don't realize how much personal information they left behind in their post history and Derek just showed with that post he intends to use that against us.

My agitation with the moderators actions on this subreddit is not about heavy-handedness but more about my believe that Derek is treated differently out of fear to have to deal with his tweets being posted on here if he does end up banned. I am of the believe that this same fear is one of the reasons that Fdev doesn't dare to outright deal with him either. I am not too certain if his ban on that forum is actually permanent, if it is kudos to them for stepping up to the plate.

I have no problem with Derek Smart ability to post if he would leave the insults and threats at the door, but I know he is not capable of doing so, as he has shown repeatedly.
