Meta: WoW Classic Discussion on /r/WoW

When it comes to the setup and features of how Blizzard will handle the classic servers. I think when we start adding modern QoL features that we have been getting accustomed to over the recent years it can OPEN PANDORAS BOX in regards to what's allowed and what isn't. Ive played WoW since launch week. I remember all the good along with the bad. If you want to relive those moments it should be IMO as close to the original as possible.

***Should Have: -Original Race/Class combos. No goblins, monks etc -Class balance patch set to 1.12 -An artificial raid tier release schedule instead of everything at launch -Closed community, no crossrealm -Original Mount system -Weapon Skills -Original Skill Trees -UBRS set to 10 -Unintended bug fixes, like unkillable mobs, broken doors, stuck in flight master

***Should Not Have - Dungeon Finder/BG Finder, make capitals and zone entrances great again - Skills or Abilities not in vanilla - Achievements (leads to elitism) - ilvl (see above) - No Crossrealm play, live with your reputation (don't be a dbag) - No AOE looting (if u start allowing little things like that where does it end?) -Pet Battles (see above)

***Civil Discussions that should be had - Modern Loot System? (Fair tradable group loot, stops ninjaing) - Guild Banks (having 1 person hold this led to Major guild breakups when a ninja occurred) - Mount/Pet Tab? (QoL that effects no aspect of play) - Modern Quest Tab? - New/Old player Models? - Flexible PvE/PvP (like announced for BfA) - Request to exit next flight path? - Slight spell/ability coefficient changes (to make 0% viable specs usable for something)

I'll edit this comment when I see more and more points which have escaped me at 7am. Keep it classy Azeroth, our discussion on this will lead to how this is approached. I personally want as much of an original experience as possible.
