Is it a Metaphor?

After being married to someone who has decided they don't like cooking, they don't like cleaning, and they don't want to have sex, I now consider these things to be red flags. To me, it's just a signal that someone either hasn't become an adult or had a taste of adulthood and just decided to bow out. The general obliviousness is the same too. He also used to make a comment about how he felt bad that I was cleaning and that it made him feel that he should get up and help me. (He didn't though.)

I'll NEVER have another "partner" like this again. There's no real partnership there. They just want everything done for them. What's the point of a relationship like that? All for one, and none for the other. No thanks.
