Meta's big problem: Everything about VR looks supremely uncool

"Almost word-for-word" because you glossed over the very first sentence, which is the most important aspect that distinguishes this technology from anything that's come before it – which is the limitless range of possibilities in terms of what a person can do and create in virtual space.

Moreover, you're just not grasping the significance of what can be accomplished by integrating analog, digital, virtual, and augmented control. I keep seeing this general complaint coming up that sounds like, "Why would anyone do this virtually when they could do it IRL or digitally much easier?" It's a nonsense question, because the entire goal here is seamless transition between all of these modalities.

I honestly feel like you have to go out of your way to not see where all of this is headed....or like a lot of people in here are committed to hating on the technology for no other reason than that they want Meta/Zuck to fail.
