Metro man decorates shelter dog’s room and moves in to get her adopted

I get it, people love animals because they hate people. Animals can't vote, can't bullshit about politics, can't complain, can't interact verbally on any level. Maintenance is low and they are little love slaves.

But I can't help but notice how much attention animals in this town receive, and how little attention humans living in the same conditions don't receive.

Both are created by neglect/abuse, etc. Yet for some reason we always blame the humans for their station in life, and treat the animals as the innocents they are.

Cute story, it really is, that dog is cute as hell and will get adopted in no time flat. I only wish we treated our fellow man in the same fashion.

I'm sorry. I know this is a troll, but I find this trend disturbing. What's the murder rate in the hood again???

Again cute story, happy story. Not sure what kind of discussion it warrants other than "oh cute!"

Sorry for the tangent, I really am. I know exactly what kind of defensive response I will get. Not sure why I bother.

If the news covered and promoted social programs and community organizations that worked for people, showed them working, instead of these cheap ass took 2 minutes to write and no effort feel good stories maybe this metro could be in a better place.

But, eh, cute story, cheap story, how many more will be killed this year. How many more will live their lives with no sense of respect.
