MFW Democrat sponsored bill H. Res 446 is hijacked by fucking savage Republican congressman and amended to appoint a special prosecutor for Clinton, Comey, Lynch, Clapper, Brennan, Abaden, and Clinton foundation..

The judiciary committee voted on an amendment to a resolution that asked for documents about all these issues. The resolution was H. Res 443; the new version was the amendment to H. Res 443. (This amendment replaced the original "muh Comey firing, muh Russia" resolution 443 that was offered by oompa-loompa Jayapal). That amended bill has been reported to the House for a vote, but it's up to House leadership (snek Ryan and Kevin McCarthy) to determine whether it comes to a vote or not.

I had my facts wrong earlier. Because H. Res 443 was a "resolution of inquiry," it had to be acted on by week's end, but in this case, being voted on in the judiciary committee counted as being "acted on." So now it's stuck in House purgatory because Paul Ryan is a ball-gargler.

There is a standalone bill (also a resolution) requesting Trump or Sessions to appoint a special counsel to investigate these issues. We're trying to get it voted on before recess but that's unlikely to happen because of leadership (Paul Ryan and Kevin McCarthy). That means that during August, the best thing to do will be to email your congressman repeatedly, asking them to cosponsor the resolution and bring it to a vote.
