Miami Marlins Looking At Eliminating Unprofitable Baseball Wing Of Organization

LMAOOOO the ignorance

  1. This is Jeter's second year.
  2. Jeter's first big move, 3 months after he was named CEO, was trading Christian Yelich, a 26 year old burgeoning superstar, for Lewis Brinson (bad), Isan Diaz (even worse), Monte Harrison (below average), and Jordan Yamamoto (good).
  3. The Marlins are the worst team in baseball. Last year they were 4th worst.

Please elaborate as to why trading a 26-year-old Christian Yelich for uncertain prospects who are only 3-5 years younger and none of whom will ever be as good as he is, is a viable strategy for "rebuilding".

Lmao fans are so gullible. They were cutting costs, because Yelich was on the verge of being a $300MM player, which he has now become. Same thing happened with Stanton when they realized they couldn't afford him.

They tell you they're rebuilding, but when this team continues to be awful for the next few years, maybe you will finally see the truth. Jeter is no different from the prior ownership.

The old ownership also traded away Luis Castillo AND 2 other players for only Dan Straily.
