Michael Johnson moving down to featherweight

His fight IQ issue is really overstated, in my opinion. Against Barboza, his fight IQ was perfect, he pressured Barboza so hard that he couldn't do jack shit. He was screwed so hard against Dariush, I believe all of the media gave him the fight. Against Diaz, he took round 1 with leg kicks before Nate actually checked them, forcing MJ into territory where Nate was more comfortable; I'd say it was a perfect performance by Diaz more than a bad one from Johnson. Poirier didn't really tell us much in regards to his fight IQ, but he looked damn good. Against Nurmagomedov, the main criticism leveled at him was the guillotine attempt in round 2, but he was going down anyway with Nurmagomedov's proficiency in chain wrestling, it really was his only option. Against Gaethje, he actually did a decent job, going to the body and rocking Justin with at least one uppercut/shovel hook, but the pace of the fight made both men sloppy, and Gaethje thrives when he and his opponent are gassed; only criticism I'd level at him in this performance is his not addressing the leg kicks early enough, but after a point, it really couldn't be addressed. Overall, while not the smartest of fighters, his fight IQ isn't a gigantic weakness in my opinion. I think he does very well at featherweight.
