I've been hating on Michael Moore for a decade. I see his name and I immediately resort to 'moron', or 'wrong.'

I have to quit that, because sometimes the fucker is right and his observations can sometimes be insightful.

That 4 minute video that was made featuring his voice brought a co-worker of mine to tears. She's pushing 50, was laid off from the O&G industry, and now has to do temp work. Her husband was laid off at the same time, and took a night shift doing security to make ends meet. They have 1 car, and she has to plan her schedule around getting it back in time for him to drive to work.

She's a devoted human-loving christian. A kind-hearted woman. And she told me she had never heard anyone speak so perfectly about how she feels. That he explained how she was feeling better than she could have. She said she could have done without the profanity, but that the anger and dispair he expressed was real to her, and asked why she hadn't heard of this conservative, where she could listen for more?

I told her he was a liberal and she said "Oh, well that figures about the profanity then. That surprises me."

With that, I'll definitely resolve to open myself up to sources I've formerly marked off.
