I'm not going to pretend to know the circumstances under which Michael Peña joined Scientology. From what I've heard, the "church" is very good at making you feel comfortable and feeding you information only as you seek it. It's harder to see the evils that someone or something does when you've already given them your trust. It's the same reason victims stay with their abusers. For all I know this is Peña's experience as well. Until I see evidence that suggests otherwise, I'm not comfortable condemning people for giving into something that thousands of others are susceptible to.

Scientology is a cult and I hope Peña and others see the light of day and leave that piece of shit organization, but judge not lest ye be judged.
