You try so hard to obscure easy to find facts. Ever feel like your efforts are pointless?

I haven't tried to obscure anything. Trump says a lot of dumb things. His ban included 8% of the Muslim population. So despite what he said, he never tried to institute a "Muslim Ban". Was he pandering to his base? Surely. Did he ever attempt to ban all Muslims from the US? No.

From the eventual SCOTUS ruling upholding the travel ban:

Although five of the seven nations in the order have Muslim-majority populations, "that fact alone does not support an inference of religious hostility," Roberts added, saying that the policy covered 8 percent of the world's Muslim population and was limited to countries previously designated by Congress or other administrations as posing national security risks.
