Michelle Wolf Blasts Trump and Media at White House Correspondents' Dinner

I'm actually not a republican and I'm frustrated by partisans on both sides. The fact is that Democrats aren't winning. They refuse to change the way they communicate their messages (messages I agree with, the execution I disagree with). They are mirroring polarizing tactics from conservatives and keep shooting themselves in the foot in the process. While some of the jokes at the WHCD were funny they often took a mean spirited tone. I think comedy can be offensive and should be. But there comes a point to ask how productive it is, especially in the political arena. It reminded me of comedians telling Ann Counter to kill herself at that roast, which was not even placed within the context of a joke.

Do you think the WHCD did anything productive for liberals? How exactly was it helpful for any of their causes? I will need to find the reporter who said it, but this diminshes any trust that existed between journalists and the residents of the red states where they work.
