Michigan: Bi-Partisan bill would tax vaping products at 24%

It costs me $3 to make 100ml of liquid. People who buy their liquids in stores are paying $15, $20, and beyond for that quantity. They're already paying hundreds of percent markup for the convenience. Is that really going to change from an increase of 24% of the wholesale price / 10-15% of the retail price? Would it be fair to say that the ones who do care, are mostly already buying ultra budget juice online or DIYing, and have been for years, so don't count as lost sales?

Hardware, too. There's so many mods that cost $40 online and $90 in a b&m. It's true that business will be lost from the set of people who will happily pay $90 for a $40 mod but would never pay $110 for a $40 mod. But that's a ridiculously small set of people.
