Michigan COVID-19 cases rise for fourth straight week

I live in the thumb area and usually only travel in Sanilac, Lapeer, northern St. Clair county and anecdotally have had more friends and people I know test positive in the last month than all of last year. People are not wearing masks, and not social distancing, and not getting tested when they feel sick. A local Kroger store (Imlay City) had an outbreak because a sick employee kept coming to work. Some small bars and restaurants have been closed down multiple times because of someone testing positive. The tracing is a joke, it's a voluntary "write your name on a pad a paper" type thing. While I am sympathetic to small business owners (I am one) I don't understand the total denial with people. Until we get enough people vaccinated, this isn't OVER. Can't people be patient?
