In @ Michigan? PM me to get into the GroupMe!

I can't speak for anyone else, only for myself. But I've gotten into 4 T-10's so far, but not Michigan. Seeing the 5th post about a Michigan GroupMe makes me feel divided. Now, I imagine others are like me--not in (or out yet) and thus feel a sense of being excluded. The point of this sub is to create inclusivity and help others.

Now, for people that ARE in, I can see how the group me would not contribute to division should those elect to participate. However, that's my point. If you can't participate, then that inherently creates division. How about the GroupMe is open to anyone considering the school?

To address the adcom point, no one is going to use their adcom account to get into that school's group me. IMO, all it takes is one bad egg to ruin the whole thing for everyone. To address what you said, it might not matter that a school knows you're waiting, but it could matter if someone says, "well, UVA gave me a Dillard and Michigan didn't give me shit. I'd go to Michigan regardless, so I'm going to use that to try and get more money." That person might not end up getting the same treatment if an adcom knows that. You're right that people should use common sense, but history on social media and messaging apps tell a different story about human behavior.
