Michigan SB 680 (2021 - 2022)

You talk to all attendings like this? And no, I’m not divorced. Widowed actually. Wife was in car accident, wrong way driver. Grade III DAI. Spent seven months in a vegetative state before she died. That was fun. I was able to run my practice as a single dad because we have mid levels to extend our practice. And I have bad news professor. Every vascular surgery program in my state employs mid levels, even the academic ones. All my colleagues I know in other states employ them too. Why? Because a physician extender that’s used appropriately helps YOU be a better doctor. They can be your eyes and ears when you can’t be there. You’re way too young to be this angry and bitter. I have no idea why you think mid levels are undermining the profession. They are there for a reason. You want to get rid of mid levels? Great. Let’s hear your solution.
