Microsoft Flight Simulator 2019 MEGATHREAD

I was mightily impressed by the video from the E3.

While I am not a flight simmer, the most fun in gaming I have is when flying a heli or a small plane in Arma 3, either with a Hotas X setup or even an XBox One gamepad sometimes.

What I find compelling about the video and the information about Flight Simulator :

There is no risk involved as Flight Simulator will be included in Gamepass for PC and XBox.

Just try it out next year with an existing subscription or get a month of subscription to test it.

I love that they are bringing this to the XBox consoles and include it in Gamepass. It will bring the genre to people who shied away from the investment in software and hardware before.

I don't have doubts that the sim can look like they show in the video. Modern 4K Gaming graphics are on this level already, just Microsoft now uses this for Flight Simulator.

Whether this is going to be a 'realistic' simulation or just a beautifully looking one with easy controls, I don't have the slightest idea.

I hope there will be different options available. Newcomers should be able to use this with a Gamepad on their XBox and veterans should be able to set up their extensive rig on a PC for this sim with all the monitors and Joystick controls and all that fancy stuff.

I know I will download it to both my PC and my XBox One X the first possible moment I can.
