This whole appeal from Sony is a big expensive clown show. Mind you, I prefer Playstation. I'm also anti-monopoly, but even as a leftist who's educated in economics, as much as there are red flags here, it is not a monopoly. Microsoft is going to succeed too, and nothing is going to go the way Sony or fanboys really want things to go. For what it's worth I really believe Xbox is going to keep COD on PS even after the three year deal, why do I think that? Overwatch 2, Minecraft VR 2, Minecraft Dungeons, Minecraft Legends... This is all really obvious, even Sony with Destiny 2. Even if Xbox pulls in four years, that's the exact amount of time it takes to make a AAA game. So that bagues the question why doesn't Sony just make its own COD? They own like three modern military franchises, they could also make Firewall a non VR title, or strike a deal with Battlefield, Modern Combat, Ghost Recon, Crossfire, CS, Insurgency, etc. Sony is and always has been in a position where it can befriend any game publisher they wish. Instead of throwing money at a dead lawsuit they could just use that money to invest in themselves. Sony is taking gamers money for granted. They got time to get their shit together but if they don't we are gonna speak with our wallets. Its really frustrating that Sony is chasing after someone else's franchise after all this time instead of setting themselves up for success.
