Mid Lane Changes For LCS 2016 - CLG

Mirror for when this inevitably goes down:

Counter Logic Gaming is announcing today that Jae-hyun "Huhi" Choi will become the new starting mid laner for the League of Legends team. Huhi has worked with the team for the past several months and is a hard working and valuable member. He has shown an aptitude for learning quickly, a strong mentality for the LCS competitive environment, and showcased extraordinary talent practicing with the team. Although he has not played with the team in an official capacity, he has been as much a part of the team as any of the current starting players.

[Vlog] Huhi talks about his thoughts on becoming a starter.

It was not an easy decision to make. Eugene "Pobelter" Park has accomplished more than CLG could have hoped for during his time as a starter these past months. His efforts and talent were key in what culminated to be CLG's first LCS championship victory. Although he will no longer be CLG's starting mid laner, the team believes that he is an exceptionally talented and consistent player. CLG will be actively looking to provide Pobelter with the best possible opportunities moving into the next LCS season.

Winning is a constantly ongoing process and CLG believes that these changes will move the team forward towards that goal. We are happy to have won our first LCS championship, but as many sports fans would know - the results of one year are not indicative of the next. Every year is a new year and we are excited to see Huhi start for CLG League of Legends in the 2016 LCS season.

Thank you to all our fans who have been supporting us.

We hope you continue cheering us on the next time we take to the Rift.
