I’m sorry to hear about the issues with your parents. Wherever you go and whatever you do, I implore you not to let your life revolve around sex. You say you’ve been “learning more about the world”; it may feel that way to you, but from your post it sounds like you’ve just been spending a lot of time on the Internet around people who are obsessed with the way their genitals tingle, and who they tingle for. This probably feels new, radical and exciting to you since it goes against the things your family stands for - but it is not your ticket to becoming better informed about life, religion, or human culture.

Whenever you leave your old life behind - whenever you get to college or whatever - commit yourself to actually learning about the world: how people live, and die, what they believe in, what they care about, how they order their societies, the books they read and write. Come out from yourself: don’t allow the cult of sexuality to drive you further inwards. God bless
