I might as well just quit Dark Souls.

First off, I'm not saying that Dark Souls as a whole was something I hated. It has a LOT of things in the game that I legitimately enjoyed a whole lot. The problem is, the game keeps getting in the way of my joy, and is constantly trying to do things that hinder my experience and want me to give up, as what I enjoy about it is overshadowed by the stuff that is infuriating.

Second, there is this false misconception that this is a Dark Souls community. It's NOT. It's a Sub-Reddit ABOUT Dark Souls, and Dark Souls discussion. With that, there's no reason that I shouldn't be able to post about my frustration and anger with the game, all because a few people can't handle someone's negative feelings about the game. Well, guess what? If you don't like what I have to say about the game, then simply SCROLL PAST my posts and don't click on it.

Third, I like to analyze video games and declare whether or not they're good design or not. I'm not saying that Dark Souls as a whole was badly designed. It has stuff in it that was badly designed. Stuff that would drive the average players away from games is something I'm trying to notice, mainly because I'm currently working on my OWN game at the moment, and am trying to make it as well-rounded as possible. As a result, I need input from the players of Dark Souls to find out why they enjoy such frustration.
