Migrant boats to be pushed back before they reach British waters

I think despise is the wrong word. Most people are ambivalent on politics outside of elections.

That's definitely the case of the majority of Labour voters but there are sections of the country that do despise the Conservatives.

It quite clearly is qbout immigration levels or do they not have an impact on the number of people coming into the country? Illegal immigrants do not form the largest proportion of immigration but they are a massive security risk.

Of course they have an impact on immigration levels but that's not the important thing in this situation. If you view high immigration levels as a problem this really isn't what's causing that problem. High levels of immigration and people crossing the channel are essentially separate issues.

Firstly, i never said let them die. Turning peoppe away will save lives in the long run as it will mean the channel crossing is no longer viable.

But that policy will let some people even if it has the potential to save more lives in the run. We don't have to make such a choice we can help everyone in that situation There is a difference between not letting people in to the country just for turning up and just sending them back on their dingy
