Miguelinileugim's suggestions thread

Hi, thanks a lot for your detailed thoughts!

1) - yeah, there will be more events definitely, now that the event system seems to be somewhat stable. It is surprisingly hard to design good events though. I want them to be logical and have clear causal connections, and they need to have a meaningful impact. I don't want to spam the player with small stuff.

2) I love skill trees, but I believe that for this, added complexity > added value. They add code complexity and balance complexity.

3) I'm probably going to expand the housing system, and maybe some kind of lab. Not sure about any more general real estate.

4) Only sometimes! I want a social module at some point, but with some depth - like, you can pick your friends/partners, giving you certain advantages and disadvantages in life.

5) Could be a good tweak to increase the feeling of progression in early lives. Yeah, the skill is of limited use right now.

6) A more sophisticated system for eating is probably the most common request, and the one feature that will definitely be added.
